Canine Communication Research Project Explained

Our director Tamarack Song explains the Brother Wolf Foundation’s Canine Communication Research Project to two new Project consultants from the Netherlands: Mariska Kret, PhD, and Hugh Jansman, PhD. Mariska, a professor at Leiden University’s Cognitive Psychology Unit, heads up the Comparative Psychology and Affective Neuroscience lab. Her field of study is emotional body language in Humans, Bonobos, and canines. Hugh, an animal ecologist at Wageningen Environmental Research, is the foremost authority on Wolves in the Netherlands and has been involved in all phases of Wolf reinhabitation since their reappearance in the country in 2011.
