Adopted by Wolves

Brother Wolf Foundation director Tamarack Song tells the story of his life as the member of a pack of Wolves he rescued from a roadside zoo. They returned the favor by welcoming him into their family, where he experienced firsthand the intimate dynamics of Wolf life that very few people have witnessed. It is a story of joyful moments in family life, and of overwhelming tragedy.

It is a story that shaped Tamarack’s life and gave him the passion and inspiration to help others know Wolf for who she truly is. He takes you there, inside the private life of a close and caring Wolf family, where you will find out:

  • How it warms the heart to be accepted as a fellow Wolf.
  • What it’s like to look into the eyes of a Wolf while you are licking each other’s faces.
  • How it feels to be there when the pups are born, or to hold a dying Wolf in your lap.
  • What it is like to hunt, play games, and nap in the sun with Wolves.
  • How living with a family of Wolves can transform a wounded, defensive recluse into an open, trusting social being, i.e., how to be a healthy Human.
  • … and so much more.

Bring your questions about Wolves, and above all bring your curiosity for entering a world of warmth and wonder.
