My Life with Wolves

A multimedia presentation by Tamarack Song

at Ledge View Nature Center, Chilton, WI

Tamarack knows Wolves. Having been adopted by a captive pack, he lived with them for five years and came to know their minds, their spirits, and their passions. By playing and hunting with them, helping to raise the pups, and joining in their daily rituals, he shared in their pleasure and pain.

In this presentation, Tamarack shares the vital life lessons he learned from Wolves, including how to be emotionally honest, speak truth, and live a respectful life. He describes the intimate understanding he has gained of pack structure and parenting practices, which sometimes contradicts commonly accepted knowledge.

You will learn why Wolves howl, and some of the complex language Wolves use to communicate. Tamarack gives you an inside look at a Wolf hunt, along with insight on the Wolf-Deer relationship. Then he brings the topic close to home by showing how Dogs are Wolves in disguise.

Bring your questions on anything Wolf related, as Tamarack enjoys nothing better than helping others know Wolves for who they really are.
